The 4th and 5th of April saw two nights of sold-out Film Premieres for ‘Music Scene Memories at Torquay Town Hall’ with Lionel Digby and friends at Torquay’s Royal Lyceum Theatre
Lionel Digby Music Promoter and Film Director John Tomkins presented an evening celebration of the legacy of the local Music Scene Memories at Torquay Town Hall from the 50’s to early 80’s, featuring many of the musicians and people who supported the big name chart acts of that time.
This special evening had live music from local musicians in the film, a Q and A with Lionel and the Director of the film and an exhibition of Music Memorabilia in the foyer.
The evening was presented by local historian Dr Kevin Dixon, all ticket profits from the evening going to Children’s Hospice South West.
