The suspicious device found at a property Newton Abbot is not viable police have confirmed.
A 200 metre cordon had been put in place around the property in Tudor Road following the discovery of the device earlier today.
The cordon has been lifted and evacuated residents will now be allowed to return.
Police remain at the scene and investigations continue.
