You can have your chance to voice your opinion about health and care services in Devon at a series of events across the area.
The NHS in Devon is working on a five-year plan for health and care services, known as the Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP). These plans may affect services at the four acute and district hospitals in Devon:
Derriford Hospital (Plymouth)
North Devon District Hospital (Barnstaple)
Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital
Torbay Hospital
The events will allow people to discuss the first stage of this work – a review of acute services.
Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust state on their website:
“There are no specific proposals for service change at this stage. This is an opportunity to talk to people about the criteria used, and listen to your views and experiences, ahead of the launch of any proposals, likely to be in summer 2017,”
