Nominations are now open to recognise the hard work and dedication of health and social care staff across Torbay and Southern Devon.
The Blue Shield Awards, organised by Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, are held annually to celebrate the people who go above and beyond in their role and help to make a real difference to health and social care.
There are a total of seven categories within the awards including individual, team, partnership, innovation and research, volunteer, and lifetime achievement.
Mairead McAlinden, Chief Executive of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, said:“Staff work extremely hard to ensure that everyone who comes into our care receives the highest quality of service, with many going above and beyond the call of duty in their role each and every day.
“The Blue Shield Awards are about recognising the people who make a real difference in health and social care, as well as sharing and celebrating some of the many success stories about the great work that takes place in healthcare across Torbay and Southern Devon.
“If you know of a member of staff, a team or a volunteer who is worthy of an award, I would encourage you to find out more and nominate!”
