The Olly Murs Powderham Castle concert has been cancelled.
The promoter of the concert, Stephen C. & Associates has gone into liquidation.
Fans have been left worried they may not get a refund.
“As a result, the company is not in a position to offer you a refund. However, if you bought tickets with a credit card, you should contact your credit card company immediately and ask them to refund your money. If you have purchased your tickets through one of the nominated ticket agents you should contact them in the first instance,”

The event featuring Olly Murs and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra was due to take place at Powderham Castle on 29th July.
On the Powderham Castle website, the following statement was made. “We are very sad to learn that promoter Stephen McManus is cancelling his booking at Powderham and that next weekend’s Olly Murs and BSO concerts will not able to go ahead . Of all the events during this busy Powderham summer season, these were two particular favourites. Both Olly and the BSO have played at Powderham before and they were coming back by popular demand, particularly from our local community in and around Kenton. “We have worked hard with Stephen C Associates and with Teignbridge District Council to bring these world-renowned artists to Powderham, and to organize two wonderful summer evenings in the deer park. The events were fully prepared and due to be well attended, and we understand the liquidation of Stephen C. Associates is due to unforeseen and unrelated factors – but of course it is the ticket holders and Powderham’s community who will be most let down. “We are so sorry for all those who booked tickets and were looking forward to a great night. While we cannot hope to make up for the disappointment of missing these shows, we are looking at ways to make a gesture for those who have bought tickets. We are considering various options to see what Powderham can do to for this enthusiastic audience. We will keep you posted – Please keep an eye on our website for any announcements – www.powderham.co.uk “After a successful summer in 2016, and a number of great events already this year, this is a real blow. We want to continue to bring top quality live performances to the region for the benefit of local music fans, and will work hard to do so while learning what we can from this really unfortunate news.” Any inquiries regarding tickets and refunds should be directed to the provider you purchased from, or directly to the appointed liquidators: Herron Fisher (kirsty.penfold@herronfisher.co.uk). I'm so gutted for my fans in Exeter & Bournemouth. Although it's out of my control I'm still so sorry & hope I can get to see you all soon! pic.twitter.com/AUknRDZ67E — Olly Murs (@ollymurs) July 19, 2017 [do_widget id=text-36] Return to our home page for more local news here.
