Over £60,000 has been donated to help get a Torquay Man critically injured in Antigua back to the UK for treatment.
Christopher Tester, 37, was shot in the head during an attempted robbery at his parents restaurant in Antigua on Christmas day.
Mr. Tester has been moved to a hospital in Guadeloupe from Mount St. John Hospital in Antigua.
A spokesperson for the family said this morning: “Chris has been assessed by the medics in Guadeloupe and will have surgery tomorrow. We are looking at the possibility of getting him back to the UK in the next few days.
“Please keep sharing this as we still need your support and donations. Thank you to all who have supported this cause so far,”
