A pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Plymouth yesterday, Monday, 10 June.
Police have appealed for witnesses following the incident on Coburg Street, near the James Street junction, shortly before 11.15am.
Police state that the pedestrian, a 19-year-old woman from the Launceston area, was taken to Derriford Hospital where she is being treated for injuries which are considered to be life-threatening. The driver, a man in his 40s from the Plymouth area, was uninjured.
