Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision in Plymouth yesterday, Thursday 9 January.
Emergency services were called to Whiteford Road, at around 3.55pm to reports of a collision involving a blue Audi A1 and a pedestrian.
It was reported that the Audi A1 collided with two parked vehicles, a red Mazda and a red Seat, injuring a pedestrian who was next to them on the pavement. The pedestrian, who is in their 70s, was taken to Derriford Hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
The driver of the Audi, also in their 70s, was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The road was closed whilst investigations took place. It re-opened at around 8.40pm.
