Person hit by a train near Exeter

Emergency services are dealing with an incident on the train line near Exeter.

The incident happened just after 11.30am this morning, Monday 12th August between Exeter and Tiverton, near Stoke Cannon.

National rail says on their website:
“The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Exeter St Davids and Taunton. As a result of this, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or diverted.This is expected until 16:00”

Replacement buses will run between Exeter St Davids and Taunton from 12:45.
