Police have appealed for information following a fatal collision late last night.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Teign Valley, near Sowton Mill, just before midnight on Sunday night.
The collision involved a Daihatsu Fourtrak that was heading in the direction of Dunsford when it crossed the carriageway onto the offside of the road and continued into the offside hedgerow.The driver was unfortunately pronounced deceased a short time later.Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene and are appealing for further witnesses.If you have any information, please contact police on 101 quoting log number 828 for the 31st of January.For more community news and info, join us on Facebook: We Are South Devon or Twitter: @wearesouthdevon
