The watch was of particular sentimental value, as the victim’s grandfather had carried it with him throughout the world war2.

Anyone who has been offered this watch or other jewellery items for purchase or has any information regarding the burglary is asked to contact police on 101 quoting police reference CR/23029/15 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or report online at www.Crimestoppers-uk.org
