Police appeal after theft of charity boxes in Dawlish

Police have appealed for information after 2 charity boxes were stolen from a shop in Dawlish today (31st December)

A Marie Curie charity box and a Barnardo’s charity box were taken from a shop on The Strand this afternoon.

Have you seen Torbay man wanted by police?

A spokesperson for Teignmouth and Dawlish Neighbourhood Police said:
“At 1530 today, a male and a female walked into a shop on The Strand Dawlish and stole two charity boxes. One belonging to Barnardo’s and one Marie Curie.

“Please look out for the following people-one female with dark hair, approx 5’9, wearing a grey glittery top with a dark coat with a fur collar over it, with black leggings and knee length shoes.

“The male was described around 5’6 with short dark hair wearing a red jumper with a white shirt underneath with denim jeans and a dark coat on with a chequered hood. If seen please call 07595011155,”
