Police have appealed for information after dog was allegedly thrown from a car on A38 today.

The incident took place near Kennford Services.

A black King Charles Spaniel was found injured in the area with suspected broken legs and has been since taken to the vets for treatment.

At this time, police only have third hand reports of how the dog came to be on the road and how it sustained its injuries.

If anyone has any information that can help police, we ask them to contact 101 quoting log number 397 for the 1st of September.
