Police in Newton Abbot have appealed for information after a 16 year old boy was seriously assaulted in Newton Abbot yesterday, 12th October.
The incident happened in the carpark of Newton Abbot College, Exeter Road, Newton Abbot.
The student was assaulted by two unknown males between approximately 1050hrs and 1100hrs as he was walking between classes.
The victim was punched and kicked in the face and sustained a serious eye injury. He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since returned home.
The two offenders are described as white males aged approximately 16-18 years old. One male was wearing a thigh length hooded khaki coloured coat, blue jeans, black baseball cap and black footwear carrying a black bag around his neck.
The offenders were seen to walk away pushing a black mountain bike.
The second male is described as wearing a grey hooded top, grey/green knee length shorts and black footwear with short dark hair.
Police are keen to speak to any witnesses to the assault or anybody who believes that they know the identity of these two offenders.
