Police have appealed for information relating to a burglary at a property in Brixham at the weekend.
The incident took place at around 11.40am on Sunday 21 August in Polhearn Way. An unknown man is believed to have entered the house via the back door and made off with an estimated £5,000 worth of jewellery.
The items taken were a diamond solitaire ring with the approximate value of £1,000, a two-diamond ring with the approximate value of £1,500, an 18ct gold bracelet with a value of approximately £1,500 and a diamond sapphire ring worth £1,000.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses and urge that anyone who saw the burglary or anything suspicious in that area, to come forward to the police.
