Police appeal for information following Newton Abbot assault

Police have appealed  for information after an unprovoked assault in Newton Abbot on Friday, 11th November.

The victim, a 35 year old man from Newton Abbot was walking on Queen Street between 6pm and 6.30pm when he was assaulted by another man.

Have you seen Torbay man wanted by police?

He was punched once in the head, causing him to fall to the ground and break his ankle.

Police are appealing for information from the public about the incident and are seeking the suspect who is described as around 6ft tall and of slight build. He had blonde medium-length hair and was wearing a checked shirt.

They are particularly keen to trace a woman who was believed to be with the offender. She is described as being around 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build and with having brown bobbed hair.
