Police appeal for potential victims to come forward following indecent exposure incidents

Appeal for witnesses following serious collision on A38

Police have appealed for potential victims to come forward after reports of a man indecently exposing himself to women on buses.

There have been three reports of a man indecently exposing himself on buses travelling between Exeter and Dawlish. Officers investigating the incidents believe there could be more.

The man is reported to have exposed himself and committed an indecent act in front of a lone female passenger on each occasion.

Thursday 3rd June: A woman aged in her 50s reported an incident on the lower deck of the Number 2 service between 8am and 8.40am.

Saturday 12th June: A further report was made by a woman aged in her 20s, the incident happened between 4.50pm and 4.55pm.

Tuesday 20th July: Another woman in her 50s reported an incident at around 8am.

Police Constable Helen Harris said: “I am specifically looking to see if there are any other victims and would encourage them to come forward. Incidents may have happened between May and 3 August this year.”

A man aged in his 50s has been recalled to prison for allegedly breaching the terms of his licence.

Enquiries are ongoing.
