A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in Plymouth this morning, 8th August.
The incident happened at Plymouth train station at around 10am.
A man has been arrested and police are now appealing for witnesses.
In a statement, British Transport Police said:
“A man in his thirties has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on the concourse at Plymouth station this morning.
“Officers were called at 10am and attended alongside Devon and Cornwall Police and the South Western Ambulance Service. The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries considered to be life threatening.
“A 29-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested at the scene and has been taken into police custody.
“An investigation is now underway and officers are looking to identify any witnesses who saw what happened at the station. If you were in the vicinity and saw this assault, please get in touch,”
