Police appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist seriously injured

Fatalities reported in major incident in Plymouth

Police have appealed for witnesses following a single-vehicle collision in Plympton at the weekend.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a green Kawasaki motorcycle on the B3417 Plympton to Lee Moor road, near Bude Farm at around 3.40pm on Saturday 28 August.

The rider, a man in his 20s from Plympton was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed by police for five-and-a-half hours whilst investigations took place.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and would like to hear from anyone who may have relevant dash cam footage.
