Police appeal for witnesses following Paignton robbery

Police have arrested a 21 year old man following a robbery in Paignton this morning.

The arrest follows a break-in at the Beefeater in Long Road between 11.45pm on Sunday 12th April and 1am Monday 13th April.

A woman, in her 40s, who was in the pub at the time, was threatened by the suspect and treated by ambulance crews for minor injuries.

Police are appealing for members of the public who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the robbery to call police on 101 quoting reference CR/024808/15.
