Update: Alexis has been found safe and well.
Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a teenage girl missing from Paignton.
Alexis Simons, 14, went missing from her address in Paignton on Monday 26 August.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Enquiries have been made by officers to locate Alexis and we are now appealing to the public for information on her whereabouts, and to report any sightings of her.
“Alexis is confirmed to have been in the Padstow area on Friday 30 August and is thought to be heading towards Newquay.”
Alexis is a white female, 4ft 10ins in height and of slim build. She has long brown hair but has been known to dye it red. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black shorts.
Anybody with any information about Alexis’ whereabouts is asked to call police on 999 quoting log 1041 of 28 August
