Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A38, Haldon Hill yesterday, Sunday 8th October.
A 54-year-old man from Bovey Tracey died as a result of the single vehicle collision. His family have been informed.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Plymouth-bound carriageway at around 12.49pm. The collision involved a white Ford Fiesta and a tree. The driver was the sole occupant. Both lanes of the A38 were closed whilst collision investigators examined the scene.
