Police concerned for welfare of man missing from Newton Abbot

Update: Maurice has been located. Police have thanked the public for their assistance.

Police say that they are extremely concerned for the welfare of a man reported missing from Newton Abbot.

Maurice Button has been missing since yesterday, 17th May 2019 at 1700hrs.

Searches are being carried out for Maurice and police are urging anyone who has seen or sees him to contact police via 999.

Maurice has been described as a white male 5’8” tall, light grey hair, stocky build. He is believed to be wearing dark blue jeans, grey and black Peter Storm walking boots, a grey and black rucksack and may be in possession of a day-style bag.
