Police concerned for welfare of missing Paignton man

Update: John has been found safe and well.

Police are concerned for the welfare of a man missing from Preston, Torbay.

Police are appealing to the public to help locate Alistar John Wood (who likes to be called John) and to contact them if you know of his whereabouts.

John was last seen 9:50am today, Sunday 8th July in Southfields Avenue, Paignton. He has links to Paignton, Newton Abbot, Totnes and the South Hams.

John is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build with short brown hair. He was possibly wearing a blue & white checked short sleeve top and pair of jeans or chinos. He will also be in possession of a white walking stick.

If you have seen John, or know of his current whereabouts please call 101 and ask to speak to Devon and Cornwall Police quoting log number 433 of the 8th of July.
