Police re-issue appeal for information following fatal collision

Police in Devon have re-issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision in Plympton earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to Hillcrest Drive, at the junction with Longwood Close at around 2.20pm on Friday 3 July.

The incident involved two vans and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old local man, was pronounced deceased the scene.

Police have appealed for dashcam and CCTV footage and police say that officers are particularly looking for drivers who were travelling from the Glen Road direction onto Hillcrest Drive, towards Ridgeway, around the time of the collision to come forward.

Anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 468 of 3/7/20.
