Police have appealed to the public for information following a sexual assault in Torquay last week.
Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following the incident, which happened on Union Street/Newton Road on Friday 6 December at around 7am.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said” “A woman in her 20s was walking through town when she was followed closely by an unknown male from behind for around 10 to 15 minutes. He then sexually assaulted her over clothing.
“Officers would like to speak to the man pictured who it is believed may be able to assist with enquiries.
“If you have any information that could help with this investigation, please contact the police via 101 our our website, quoting crime reference 50240307669.”
