Police have warned the public to be vigilant following reports of thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles in the Newton Abbot area.
Thieves targetted a vehicle parked in a car park in Liverton between 2pm and 2.15pm on Sunday 9 May.
Another vehicle parked in a car park in the area of Bovey Road also had the catalytic converter stolen between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday 9 May.
A post on local Facebook page Spotted Torquay said yesterday:
“Just drove and parked at Trago mills, in the store for less than 20 mins and had my catalytic convertor hack sawed off. Police notified, Trago Mills contacted.”
