Police in Brixham have asked the public to contact them if they see anything suspicious following catalytic converter thefts in Brixham.
There have been two incidents in the Furzeham and Higher Brixham areas.
Posting on social media, a spokesperson for Brixham Police said: “In the last couple of weeks we have had two catalytic converter thefts from vehicles in the Furzeham area and also in Higher Brixham.
“We will be regularly patrolling the areas targeted but please remember the following related to vehicle crime;
-Lock your vehicle
-Do not leave items or valuables in plain sight within your vehicle
-If you have a garage, utilise it to store your vehicle
-If you park on a road, if possible, park under street lighting
“If you see anything suspicious, please call Police either via 999 or the 101 telephone service or use the 101 facility on the force website.”
