Buckingham Palace called a meeting for all royal household staff this morning, 4th May.
There has been much speculation online following the announcement for the meeting…
And now we know:
It has now been announced that Prince Philip, 95, will step down from royal duties
Prince Philip will attend previously scheduled engagements between now and August.
The Duke of Edinburgh can then enjoy retirement!
The Queen, 91, will continue to carry out a full programme of official engagements.
