Race Across Torbay has been postponed due to the weather it was announced today, Wednesday 7th August.
The race was due to take place this weekend on Sunday 11th August.
Competitors on paddleboards, kayaks and sea bikes were due to race from Torquay harbour to Brixham harbour to raise funds for a community bus.
Torbay Community Development Trust said on Facebook today: “Sadly we have had to postpone the Race Across Torbay (originally set to take place this Sunday, 11th August) until further notice, due to the safety of our racers possibly being compromised by weather alerts in effect. We’re aiming to reschedule this race for a date in September, which we are hoping to announce soon,”
