The A381 is currently closed both ways following a collision between The Old Inn (Halwell) and Washbourne turn off (Harbertonford)
Two vehicles involved. Emergency services are at the scene.
Traffic is slow in and around the area.
A spokesperson for Totnes police said on Facebook: “RTC near to Totnes Cross. Closures are being put in place following an RTC. Please be patient with our colleagues whilst the protect the scene to allow the medical professionals to work safely. Once I have full details of where the road is closed I shall post an update.”
