Barton Road in Torquay is partially closed due to a fire.
The fire service were called reports of an oxy-acetylene cylinder on fire on the industrial estate in Barton Torquay at around 10.30am this morning.
The road has been closed between Old Woods Hill and Hele Cross Roundabout whilst fire crews deal with the incident.
A 200m exclusion zone has been put in place by police and fire crews.
Traffic is being diverted. Slight delays around Old Woods Hill.
Fire crews remain on scene using a Ground Monitor to cool the cylinders from a distance.
