Road closed due to flooding

Dartmouth Road is currently closed due to flooding today, Sunday 16th February.

The road is closed between Waterside and Penwill Way.

Paignton Police said on Facebook: “DARTMOUTH ROAD between Waterside and Penwill Way is completely closed due to impassable flood waters. Water overlapping car bonnets when they attempt to pass through.

“Please be aware that Goodrington Road is closed for roadworks. We would recommend avoiding Dartmouth Road completely unless a resident and using the Brixham Road as an alternative. Thank you. Please share.”

Torbay Council Said: “For those needing to get around Paignton and to and from Brixham – the Police have closed Dartmouth Road at Clennon Valley due to a flood. As advised, it’s best to avoid the area.”
