Road closed due to serious accident in Newton Abbot

Update: A pedestrian, a 9-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car. He is reported to be in a stable condition. The road remains closed.

Ashburton Road in Newton Abbot is currently closed in both directions due to serious accident.
