Rowcroft Hospice has excitingly announced it will be accepting on –the-day sign ups for The Colour Rush, which takes place on Paignton Beach this Saturday 12 September.
Online registration for the colourful event has now closed, but Rowcroft has confirmed registration will be open from 12 – 12.30pm on Paignton Green for anyone still wanting to take part in the most colourful 5k South Devon has ever seen. On-the-day registration will cost £25.
Rowcroft’s Events Co-ordinator, Daniel Robson, said: “We are delighted to announce that we still have a limited number of places left for The Colour Rush.
“If anyone would still like to part who hasn’t signed up yet, we would urge you to get to Paignton Green for midday to allow plenty of time to register.
“Remember to wear your brightest whites, and prepare to get colourful!”
So far more than 1200 people have signed up to complete the 5k course along Preston and Paignton Beaches, during which time they’ll be showered with more than 2000kgs of powder paint at five paint stations.
Daniel added: “The Colour Rush is an incredible event that sees the whole of Paignton seafront transformed by plumes of rainbow coloured paint.
“It is a sight to behold and so much fun, while at the same time raising money for Rowcroft Hospice, an incredible local service that supports patients and families in South Devon to enjoy the time they have together.
