Food is very close to our hearts. The importance of the food we choose is wide ranging and not only for energy and strength but also for the healthy functioning of the immune system, maintaining independence and mental health as well as supporting healing and recovery when needed.”
With ever-growing consumer needs for convenient, high quality food, delivered to your door, Devon Farm Kitchen meals are Freshly-frozen providing ‘Deliciously Satisfying’, wholesome dishes in a sustainably convenient way by removing plastic waste and using packaging that is reusable or 100% recyclable and compostable.
Mark Hawkins, CEO at Rowcroft Hospice said; “Our meals have been carefully developed with Peter Gorton, a Fellow of the MasterChef’s of Great Britain and one of Devon’s finest chefs to ensure they are ‘Deliciously Satisfying’”.
The carefully crafted dishes are made using British sourced ingredients, with a focus on supporting local Devon farming and fishing communities. The dishes are prepared by Devon Farm Kitchen chefs and served directly on to returnable ceramic plates and bowls, making it easy to cook in a microwave or conventional oven and then just eat.
There is so much choice, to name just a few family favourites there’s delicious locally sourced Roast Beef and Yorkshire Puddings, Sausage and Mash and Brixham Fish Pie. For those that like exotic, international dishes, the Thai Fishcakes or Vegetable Curry is a must. Not forgetting the array of sumptuous desserts which will satisfy those sweet tooth pudding lovers, with the mouth-watering Lemon Curd Pudding, or rich Sticky Toffee Pudding, and for those chocoholic’s the heavenly Chocolate and Walnut Pudding, with a range of Language Ice Cream for those who prefer a more chilled dessert.
