This Christmas will see the launch of the newest addition to the Run Plymouth calendar, Reindeer Run 2024, a festive fun run around the city’s Central Park. Taking place on Sunday 15 December, the event promises a fun, magical event experience for both experienced runners and families alike.
Participants, wearing their own set of reindeer ears provided as part of race entry, will navigate around the stunning green space in the heart of the city, choosing between a full 5k route perfect for the more experienced runner, or a shorter 2k fun run open to participants as young as four. With £1 of every entry fee going directly to charity, the event offers a unique combination of fun and community, reflecting Run Plymouth’s commitment to inclusivity and legacies of positive impact.Suzi Cumberland,

Offering different distances allows us to appeal to both the seasoned runner and first-time participant, offering the whole family the chance to get into the Christmas spirit and get active at the same time.”
Participants will enjoy festive decorations as they make their way towards the finish line and be rewarded with a specially-designed finisher medal commemorating their achievement. And, as part of a partnership with Plymouth’s Winter Wonderland, all entrants will receive complementary and exclusive early access to the site to take in the stalls and festive atmosphere.
