The Spires College in Torquay is closed today, Monday 21st January due to a serious flood.
Years 11 and 13 are still to attend their exams.
Posting on Facebook, The Spires College said: “Unfortunately, College has to close today due to a serious flood which is affecting most areas. Years 11 and 13 will still attend for their exams but will be able to leave afterwards.
“If you cannot collect your child and they cannot make their way home on their own, we will make some study rooms available.
“We are very sorry for the inconvenience however the severity of the flooding and the possible impact on other services means that we cannot accommodate all children safely.”
