In exciting news for comedy fans, Torquay Comedy Club have today announced their biggest show yet. On Saturday 4th April 2020, they will host their first ever ‘Grand Show’ at the Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay, where the headline act will be the one and only Sean Lock. Tickets will go on pre-sale on Monday 11th November and you can pre-register here to be able to purchase them.
Sean Lock is one of the UK’s most highly acclaimed and original comedians, making his stage debut over twenty years ago. Since then he has gone on to win countless awards, sell out national theater tours and become a mainstay on our TVs. As the star of Live at the Apollo, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats and the spin off 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown, Sean is now one of the country’s most-loved comics. He hasn’t performed in Devon for a number of years and this show is not part of a UK tour, making this a very rare opportunity to see the man in action.
At 19:00 on Monday 11th November, Torquay Comedy Club will release 500 tickets at the price of just £25. To get hold of these tickets you must pre-register here to get access to the pre-sale link. Pre-registration is completely free of charge.
The rest of the tickets will then go on general sale at 19:00 on Wednesday 13th November at the price of £27.50.
Torquay Comedy Club founder Ben Milden is delighted to be welcoming one of his comedy heroes to his hometown and is advising people to purchase tickets early. He said:

Torquay Comedy Club’s ‘Grand Show’ will feature a number of superb support acts with Sean Lock headlining. The support acts will be announced over the coming months and are expected to feature at least one more big TV name.
