McColls in Plainmoor is currently closed this morning, Saturday 16th November due to a police incident.
Police remain in attendance at the shop on St Marychurch road in Plainmoor.
Locals state there had been a number of police vehicles and a dog unit at the incident which happened earlier this morning.
It is reported by someone in the shop that the incident had involved someone entering with a knife. This has not yet been confirmed by police.
