Spiritualists, healers and clairvoyants came together in April for a day of healing, readings, crafts and an evening of mediumship at Paignton’s Palace Theatre to raise funds for the theatre, a not-for-profit community interest company.
The event was organised with Infinity, a Torquay-based group of clairvoyants. Kay Hart from Infinity: “Infinity was proud to help the Palace Theatre, we believe it’s a wonderful theatre and would like to see it prosper for the future. Infinity is run entirely for charity, and nothing makes us happier than to keep it local. The Infinity team and mediums all enjoyed this project, as it is the biggest one we’ve done, and we are proud to have taken part in it. We would like to thank the Palace Theatre for giving us the opportunity.”
The day’s events raised a total of £3,056 for the Palace Theatre. Theatre Director, Maureen McAllister: “We were absolutely blown away by the level of support and the funds raised at this event. What a fantastic group of people to support the theatre in this way and we hope we will be able to do a similar event with the Infinity team next year. The theatre will benefit so much from their kind support”.
The day started with a Mind and Body Fair in Stage Left, then there were a series of private readings including tarot, harmony board, psychic and ribbons and foot readers. The day concluded with a show in the theatre’s auditorium with four mediums (Sheryle Redstone, Denice Vandenberg, Steven Haywood and Karen Wagerfield Wills) seeking out members of the audience and making spiritual connections. Delivered with compassion and honesty, it was a night full of heart-warming connections, providing a unique and profound experience for those who received messages and sharing an otherworldly experience with the audience.
