The pub, that had been empty following its closure was taken over by squatter last month. Banners were hung out the front saying “Beep if your horny” and “The squatted Moon”

The pub has now been boarded up.

Posting an update on Facebook today, 9th August, Paignton Police said:

“Due to the anti social behaviour in the last few weeks, Police have been working closely with the owner of the property and the county courts. As a result a possession order was awarded back to the owner and the property was promptly secured yesterday around midday. To those that hung the delightful banners across the front for all to see, if you would like them back please do get in touch, they are taking up much room and we would love to discuss with you some of the grammar errors,”
They added the hastags: #lastordersatthebar #stayinschool
