Torbay Development Agency is looking for three private sector non Executive Directors to join their Board to support the growth of the company.
The company, whose board is chaired by Vince Flower, is seeking a further three board members to complement the existing skills on the board, support the growth aspirations of TDA and ensure that the company is responsive to relevant sector interests.
TDA is a growing provider of award winning and high quality economic development, asset management, property services and facilities management services to a range of customers.
Over the past year TDA has attracted new customers and won new contracts such as the management of enterprise centres in Somerset and the provision of viability assessments for Dartmoor National Park Authority allowing the business to grow and maintain a strong track record of success.
The company is now working across a broader geography including work with district and county councils, supporting the growth of an increasing number of businesses and both efficiently and effectively delivering services that meet their clients’ needs.
These contracts allow the TDA to continue to achieve for Torbay Council, and its other customers, outcomes that they want including effective and efficient asset management, prompt property services alongside economic growth.
Vince Flower said: “The new Board Members will add value to our decision making processes and contribute to driving the delivery of complex projects using their experience in the private sector.
“Given the scale of projects and the shared ambition of TDA, the new members will need to be passionate about wanting to make a difference. They will be dealing with large, complex development issues to secure investment and successful outcomes beneficial to the future of Torbay and for our growing number of clients.”
