Torbay Council said on Facebook this morning: “To enable the surfacing of the new road and where it joins Dartmouth Road at Windy Corner, our contractor will be using temporary two-way traffic lights from Tuesday 14th May until Thursday 16th May, a total of three days. To minimise disruption the lights will only operate between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.

“Update on the work so far – despite some challenging ground conditions and issues with unmapped utility service cables, this scheme remains on programme and on budget,”
