No need to wait for the help of Miss Marple, there is a simple explanation – It has been damaged.

The Agatha Christie Bust shall return once it has been repaired.

Torbay Council explained on social media: “Due to damage, the Agatha Christie bust, located on Palk Street, has been temporarily removed for repairs and will be reinstated once the repairs have been completed,”
