Tor2 are running a limited service today, Thursday 1st March due to the weather.
They said they have already had two small collisions and waste and recycling crews have been advised to stand down.
A spokesperson for Tor2 Post on Facebook:
“Update for all residents of Torbay regarding your front line services.
“In light of today’s forecast weather conditions across Torbay TOR2 will be running a very limited service (Thursday 1 March 2018).
“For the health and safety of both residents and operatives our waste and recycling crews have been advised to stand down. Due to the adverse weather conditions we have already experienced 2 small collisions involving our vehicles.
“Although all routes have been gritted a majority of our services take place on residential roads and footpaths which may be untreated. If you are out and about today please do take care. If you use a grit bin and notice it needs to be topped up, we ask you please inform us and we will get this topped up as soon as we can.
“We hope to have our services back to normal as soon as possible. We will keep residents informed with any updates and changes.
“Many Thanks.”
