Torbay Council is proud to support the local business community by sponsoring Riviera Connect, Torbay Business and Hospitality Expo. The Council is a silver sponsor of the event which takes place on 17 October at the Riviera International Centre in Torquay.
It is the second year of the Expo which brings together the best minds and resources in the business, tourism, and hospitality sectors for a day of networking, learning, and innovation.
Council Teams will be exhibiting on stands 5, 6, 32 and 34, showcasing a wide range of their services, opportunities, attractions and partnerships including:
- Free inclusive business support programmes available via Torbay’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, including Start-Up Torbay and growth programmes

Supporting local businesses and boosting Torbay’s visitor economy is a key part of the Council’s Economic Growth Strategy and English Riviera Destination Plan. Working with a wide range of private and public sector partners, the Council is committed to making the English Riviera the UK’s premier holiday destination and creating a high-quality visitor economy all year round.

Riviera Connect runs from 10am to 5pm on 17 October and offers free admission and free parking.
