Expect a day packed of all things chocolatey – discover some of the UK’s most passionate and talented chocolate makers who are dedicated to working directly with cocoa farmers to ensure the best quality product.

There will be Chocolate making demonstrations, talks and workshops, face painting, make-your-own sessions for the kids and chocolate cocktails from the onsite bar. There will also be stalls, including; Local chocolatiers, bean-to-bar chocolate makers, artisan chocolate makers from across the UK and chocolate related products (cakes, brownies, ice-cream etc).

Organiser, Nicola Knight, a certified chocolate taster with the ‘International Institute of Cacao and Chocolate Tasting’ and founder of Celebrate Cacao told us: “I’ve been fascinated in chocolate since I visited a cacao plantation while travelling around the Caribbean. But it wasn’t until I left my teaching career that I really got swept up in it.

“I first trained as a chocolate taster, and in doing so I learned all about the difference between single-origin, craft chocolate and the mass produced stuff. I’ve been on a mission to share this ever since, and get everyone I can to start buying good chocolate!”

The event comes after a second successful Exeter Chocolate Festival held in November 2019.
