Emergency services were called to a house fire in Torquay last night.
Appliances from Torquay, Paignton and Newton Abbot attended the incident in Sandford Road at around 11.15pm
One woman was taken to Torbay hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation.
The fire, which spread to the roof of the property and severely damaged the house, is thought to be deliberate.
Police and the fire service are still at the scene this morning.
