The Museum will also be showing free classic family Christmas films daily, at 12.45pm, in its full-sized cinema from 16th – 21st December (excluding Sunday 17th December when the Museum will be closed) – contact the Museum for further details.

There will also be two fun festive trails –Help an Elfand The Grinchmas Trail, where children will track down clues hidden around the Museum and win a prize. For those who love their arts and crafts, there is even Christmas decoration making daily.

There are lots of other activities for children in this family-friendly museum, where they can hunt down the clues in the spooky Curse of the Mummy’s Hand game, and crack the secret code to the safe on the Explorer’s Trail. Many of the exhibits are interactive and fun, and are suitable for little hands and curious minds. The Museum even has its very own mummy – if you’re brave enough to go and see him.
